Covenant combines productivity management with RPG progression. Every action you take in real life affects your character and the world.
Productivity System
Tasks
Tasks are the core of your productivity. Organize them using multiple views:
- List View: Simple, focused task management
- Calendar View: See your tasks across time
- Table View: Detailed view with sorting and filtering
- Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritize by impact and effort
High-impact tasks grant more dice when completed.
Habits
Build consistency with the habit system:
- Track daily, weekly, or monthly habits
- Earn dice for each habit completion
- Build streaks for bonus rewards (21-day streaks grant extra dice)
Objectives
Long-term goals that give direction to your tasks and habits:
- Link tasks and habits to objectives
- Complete objectives for major dice rewards
- Track progress across life areas
Character System
Classes
Choose your path at character creation:
- Templar: Warriors focused on physical strength and defense
- Herald: Mages who channel magical power through doctrines
Stats
Your character has four core stats:
- Health: Your life force in combat
- Mana: Resource for casting doctrines
- Strength: Physical attack and defense power
- Magic: Magical attack and defense power
Doctrines
Special abilities unique to your class:
- Each doctrine costs mana to use
- Equip up to 2 doctrines at a time
- Unlock more powerful doctrines as you progress
Combat System
Dice Mechanics
Combat uses a dice-based system:
- Earn Dice: Complete tasks, habits, and objectives
- Roll Attacks: Dice rolls determine your damage
- Roll Defense: Block incoming enemy attacks
- Critical Hits: Rolling 6s deals extra damage
Activities
Global events where all players contribute:
- Defend Santa Cruz from demon invasions
- Earn gold and equipment as rewards
- Shape the narrative through collective success or failure
Equipment
Gear up your character:
- Weapons: Increase attack dice and damage
- Armor: Improve defense and add bonus effects
- Accessories: Special abilities and stat bonuses
- Tiers: Higher tier equipment requires character progression
